Capture the fleeting beauty of Japan's most beloved flower – forever – with this exquisite Cherry Blossom Sola Cube, made in Kyoto, Japan. A breathtaking botanical specimen, perfectly preserved in crystal-clear resin, bringing the magic of Japanese spring into your home all year round.

The Specimen

This Sola Cube contains a real, dried Somei Yoshino cherry blossom (Prunus × yedoensis – ソメイヨシノ), the most iconic and beloved cherry blossom variety in Japan. The Somei Yoshino takes its name from the village of Somei in Edo-period Tokyo (17th–19th century), where a gardener first cultivated and distributed this extraordinary variety under the name “Yoshino.” Its rapid growth and spectacular flowering quickly made it the most popular ornamental cherry tree across Japan – and today, it is the tree that defines the Japanese cherry blossom season.

The Sola Cube

Each Sola Cube is a meticulously handcrafted botanical display object, made by skilled artisans in Kyoto – Japan's ancient capital and the heartland of Japanese craft tradition. Real botanical specimens sourced from nature are carefully dried and then perfectly preserved within a flawless cube of crystal-clear resin – suspending them in a moment of pure, timeless beauty. No two cubes are exactly alike.
