Matcha Konpeito – Japanese Confectionery

Konpeito are traditional Japanese confections, celebrated for their distinctive star-like shapes. The KONPEIDOU collection offers a contemporary take on this much-loved Japanese sweet, bringing together simple ingredients and delicate Japanese flavours.

This matcha variety is made with just two ingredients: beet sugar and matcha, finely ground Japanese green tea. With no added flavourings or colourings, it allows the gentle sweetness of beet sugar to complement the distinctive, subtly earthy notes of matcha.

Unlike conventional konpeito, known for their hard, crystalline texture, this variety has a delicate, crumbly finish that softly melts in the mouth, offering a refined twist on a traditional Japanese confection.

Presented in a petite, beautifully designed box, it makes a thoughtful little gift or an elegant accompaniment to a cup of Japanese tea.
