Sasabune means ‘bamboo leaf boat’ — inspired by the childhood tradition of folding bamboo grass leaves into tiny boats and setting them afloat on streams. Cast in iron, this poetic form becomes a refined incense rest: its gently curved, boat-shaped tray holds incense sticks horizontally as they burn, catching ash with understated grace.
